Come join us with a walk in the world of jazz thru the eye’s of the Daniel Glass Trio.
The trio is well known at BIRDLAND©, a vibrant and storied jazz club in Manhattan!
There, they play Monday nights for Jim Caruso’s Cast Party – featuring local and international talent on and off the broadway stage as they perform the latest hits for you!
For our NDMC concert, we will hear tunes like It Could Happen To You (Jimmy Van Heusen/Johnny Burke.), No More Blues (Antonio Carlos Jobim) & The Man I Love (George and Ira Gershwin), plus originals by Daniel Glass – like Sparkler!
In addition, we will hear our own Staten Island talents like Evangeline Carolan on vocals, David Slevin on jazz guitar, and even do some arrangement magic on some old hymns!
BTW, this is not inaccessible avant guarde, speed jazz. This is awesome jazz by awesome performers at the all the right speeds!
So come one, come all for the music, spectacle, socializing, sounds and awesome lighting. Then, stay for the reception afterwards for some meet, mingle & merchandise with the band and us!
